You are responsible for ensuring the possession of valid required travel documents. Your passport must be valid for 6 months prior entering the country. It is the sole responsibility of the tour participant to ensure that all passport and visa requirements are met prior departure.
Travel insurance :
Travel insurance should be obtained before leaving your country of origin. We never force anyone to purchase it however. Local hospitals have limited diagnostic capability. Foreign clinics can be expensive, evacuation can cost thousands, and luggage can disappear, so insurance is a good idea. We recommend World Nomads for good deals and excellent service for medical and personal property insurance while travelling.
Local people whose villages and homes visited happy about tourism :
People are happy to have visitors because tourism helps support the local economy with cash, spreading wealth from local artisans (often women), shopkeepers, cafes, guides (often young men supporting their family) and beyond. Many rural economies are still based on the barter system.
Our employ local people :
All our employees are Moroccan muleteers, camel handlers, drivers, guides, hoteliers, and we have forged multiple relationships that translate into employment for many families. Many riads in Marrakesh are run by Europeans, we try to use Moroccan owned as much as we can. In Marrakech, we use a small riad owned and run by a Moroccan family. Morocco Explored only employs one foreigner, the rest are Moroccans living and working in Morocco
Our drivers/guides speak English, French or Spanish :
Guides know many languages as well as Berber and Arabic, including French, Spanish, and English and often some, Italian and Dutch as well
